Awards Ceremony/Toy Drive
Invitations were sent out this week for our Annual MIHS Football Award Ceremony being held on Sunday, December 11th. As the invite notes, there will be a PLAYER ONLY meal at 4:00 in the cafeteria with the Awards Ceremony to follow open to all in the MIHS auditorium at 5:00. Please come and show your support for your player and celebrate our wonderful football season!
Papa Vito’s has been such a generous sponsor and supporter of MIHS football, and we’d like to support them as well. Billy and Shiloh Graham sponsor an Annual Christmas Toy Drive, which provides gifts to those children who wouldn’t normally get a gift to open on Christmas morning. Last year, they filled an entire 15ft U-Haul truck with toys that were given out throughout our community. This year, they are hoping to double that since the need is on the rise. In the spirit of the season, we’re asking that each player bring an unwrapped toy for a child to the banquet. Coaches and QBC Members are encouraged to join the effort. The Quarterback Club will be donating these toys and make an additional donation of toys on behalf of MIHS Football. Please show your support for those who have supported us, and help bring a smile to a boy or girl on Christmas morning. I thank you in advance for participation and kindness!

Papa Vito’s Italian Restaurant annual Christmas toy drive party. Tuesday, December 13th,2011 Bring an unwrapped toy the night of the party, and drink and eat for free from 9pm till 12 am.(buffet of food, draft beer, house wine) Papa Vito’s will be giving away over $3,000.00 in gift certificates and prizes from local resaurants and shops. Our employees have raised over $3,000.00 to buy and donate toys to the toys for tot program. If you can not make it, we have a toys for tot drop box at our restaurant.
